The committee was knocking the doors of educational agencies of that time to start a college in Neudumkandam. But all their efforts proved to be futile. A letter from the sponsoring committee inviting MES to Nedumkanadm to start a college was immediately replied by the founder president of MES Dr P K Abdul Gafoor that the committee may consult K Mohammdkutty Sahib ailas Kutty Sahib, the district president of MES. The relentless efforts by the team headed by him culminated in the establishment of M ES College Nedumkandam. The long cherished dream of a college at Nedumkandam was materialised on 26th December 1982.
