P.G Department of Computer Science
In the academic year 1995-96, the Department of Computer Science started with Smt. Leena C Shekhar as the first member for handling the classes in the post graduate programme in Operations Research and Computer Applications (OR & CA). The graduate programme in Computer Applications, B C A and the post graduate programme (M.Sc. Computer Science) in un aided stream were started in the year 2013. In the year 2014 an additional batch of B C A programme also started in the aided stream. The Department has two well equipped computer laboratories with 70 computers. It has adequate software and hardware facility. The Department has a very active departmental association named ASTHRA to identify and nurture the talents of the students and thus make them capable in every sphere – curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities.

Asthra 2K16 is an inter collegiate IT fest organized by Department Of Computer Science on 7th September 2016. Fest hosts 10 events which includes Exhibition, Culture Events and Mini Theater and seven competitive events (Debugging and Bind Coding, Network Gaming, Treasure Hunt, e-waste Management, Dub smash, Paper Presentation, IT Quiz ).
